Members of Congregation Beth Shalom and the entire Jewish community are invited to join the Beth Shalom Sisterhood members for the second trimester of the Sarah Peltzman Education Series.

HBHA has restarted two community resources that have been on hiatus during the pandemic: Rams Cafe and the annual Community Blood Drive. 

Jewish Family Services is hosting a free walk-in vaccine clinic on Tuesday, Jan. 18 in the White Theatre at the Jewish Community Center, located at 5801 W. 115th St. in Overland Park. The clinic will be from 2 to 6 p.m.

January is a big month for the Jewish Family Services Food Pantry, and there are multiple opportunities to donate grocery and personal care items. 

The final community-wide food drive of 2021 for the Jewish Family Services food pantry was a great success with nearly 2,139 pounds of food items and non-perishables collected.

Applications are now open for Leadership Tomorrow, Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City’s paid summer internship program.

With the start of the new year, many couples may be thinking about starting and expanding their families.

The White Theatre at The J is holding auditions for a female version of The Odd Couple on January 14. 

The annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Interfaith Service, will be at 1:30 pm, Sunday, January 9.

After months of restoration and upgrades, the Belzer Garden at The Jewish Community Campus marked its grand reopening on December 19.
