With the start of the new year, many couples may be thinking about starting and expanding their families.
For those facing infertility, discussions about growing a family may be awkward or uncomfortable.
Priya, a program of Jewish Family Services, offers Jewish individuals and families emotional support, resource connection, spiritual guidance and financial assistance with fertility treatments and adoption.
On Thursday evening, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m., Priya and the National Council of Jewish Women of Greater Kansas City are teaming up for a virtual program, “Growing Our Jewish Community: How to be an informed advocate and ally to those facing infertility.” This interactive, discussion-based program is open to anyone in the community. Molly Hess, Priya Program Manager, will be guiding a discussion on family building and how to be supportive to those who are struggling on their journey.
