January is a big month for the Jewish Family Services Food Pantry, and there are multiple opportunities to donate grocery and personal care items.
Donations can be dropped off on Friday, Jan. 14, 3 to 5 p.m. at the JFS Brookside location (425 E. 63rd St.), or on Sunday, Jan. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon in the circle drive of the Jewish Community Campus.
In addition, you can also donate each Tuesday, from Noon to 2 p.m., dropping off items in designated barrels at both the Jewish Campus and Brookside.
While JFS is happy to accept any shelf-stable food or personal care items, the most needed things for this month are pasta, kidney beans and canned fruit.
