Joan S. March (Ryweck) of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Nov. 28, 2020, at her home. A private graveside service will be held at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Harvey was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He graduated cum laude from UC Berkeley in 1965 followed by Harvard Law School in 1968 where he was the executive editor of the Harvard Law Review. He then clerked for the Hon. Bailey Aldrich (1st Circuit) and Philip Elman at the Federal Trade Commission.
Margaret Kellner Miller died on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, at the age of 98 years, two months and one week. She was always sharing her age and basking in the compliments that she did not look her age. A family celebration of her long life will be held once things return to normal.
Martin B. Yagan, 85, passed away peacefully at his home on Nov. 21, 2020. He was born Aug. 26, 1935, to Sam and Sarah (Dubinsky) Yagan and grew up in Kansas City, attending Southeast High School and the University of Missouri.
Leslie Katz Cohen, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, died Nov. 9, 2020. The daughter of the late Earl S. and Dorothy “Sis” Katz was born in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1941. Her grandfather, Isaac Katz, founded Katz Drug Company.
Shirley R. Weintraub Gottstein, 94, was born in Kansas City, Kansas, to Evelyn and Isadore Weintraub. Shirley and her parents owned and operated the Weintraub Bakery for over 40 years. She graduated from Central High School in 1943 and from Kansas City Junior Business College in 1944.
