Harriet (Smith) Baron, age 98, passed away peacefully at her residence in Providence, R.I., on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021. She was the wife of the late Dr. Philip Baron.

Martin (Marty) Fox, 91, of Leawood, Kan., died Nov. 22, 2021, at Brookdale Senior Living in Overland Park, Kan.

Herbert Gruenebaum passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 93. Herb was born an only child in Cologne, Germany, on January 6, 1928. His parents were Gertude and Edgar Gruenebaum.

Golf courses across Kansas City, Missouri, and Scottsdale, Arizona, are mourning the loss of one of their most dedicated customers. Philip Alan “Phil” Koffman died on November 13, 2021, after living with a great attitude in spite of metastatic pancreatic cancer for the last two years.

Heloise Pfeifer Isacson Werthan Kuhn passed away peacefully Thursday, November 18, 2021, with family at her bedside.

Dr. Allen B. Rawitch, a prolific research biochemist at the University of Kansas Medical School and for 15 years the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Dean of Graduate Studies, died Thursday after a short battle with cancer. He was 80 years old.

Robert Allen Bretton, 71, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 18, 2021, in Tampa, Florida. Graveside services were Monday, November 22, 2021, at Kehilath Israel Blue Ridge Cemetery.

G. Kenneth Baum, 91, passed away on Nov. 9, 2021, with family at his side and many others sharing love and support by phone. Favorite classical pieces and songs from The Fiddler on the Roof were playing in the background.

Jacqueline Merle Chelist passed away peacefully at her Options Services group home in Olathe, Kansas, on November 7, 2021, her 71st birthday.
