Maxine Bernice Frank lived for 92 years and died peacefully at her home in Denver, Colorado, on Feb. 15, 2023, after much quality time with her three children, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, where she lived most of her life highlighted by 61 years of marriage to Arthur Frank, who died in 2011. Family always mattered most, and friends were cherished. Maxine loved to play piano, dance with her husband, cook and bake.
She is survived by and will forever be missed by her children Fran (Phil) Yeddis of Denver; Lee Frank of Denver; and Roz (Tim) Dwyer of Lake Lotawana, Missouri; grandchildren Jordan (Whitney) Yeddis of Denver; Josh Yeddis of Denver; Lisa (Jared) Sparr of Denver; Kate (Nick) Dwyer-Nunez of Madison, Wisconsin; Dylan (Chelsea) Dwyer of Savannah, Georgia; Asher Frank of Denver; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her brother, Jerry (Linda) Schaffer of Austin, Texas, and was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Pearl Spitcaufsky Schaffer.
Services were held on Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, at the Yukon Chapel in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 5529 Ditzler Ave., Raytown, MO 64133. The family observed the first night of shiva at Town Village of Leawood, 4400 W. 115th St., Leawood, KS 66211. Family continued observance of shiva in Denver.
