Stacey’s Closet, named in memory of the National Council of Jewish Women of Greater Kansas City’s (NCJW) member Stacey Bell, was created three years ago with the objective of providing elementary school children with essentials (clothing, shoes, coats, etc.) throughout the school year.

Gal Cohen-Solal, a 37-year-old father of three from Kibbutz Reim in Israel, is traveling to the University of Kansas in Lawrence to share his story as a survivor of the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks in Israel.

Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance, and Inclusion Month (JDAIM) is a unified effort among Jewish organizations worldwide to help raise awareness and foster acceptance of people with disabilities and mental health conditions in the Jewish community. Occurring each February, JDAIM is now in its 15th year.
