The city council of Kansas City, Missouri, approved an $18,500 grant to plant upwards of 36 trees along the city-owned right-of-way adjacent to Sheffield Cemetery.

Jenna Brofsky, local attorney and community volunteer, has filed for re-election to the Fairway City Council, representing Ward 4.
