Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City is launching a new Jewish business networking group designed for mid-career to high-level professionals.

Its inaugural event will be a networking breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 26. The event will be hosted by the group’s sponsor, Security Bank, at its location at 7500 W. 95th St., Overland Park, KS 66212.

“We’re excited to start a Jewish business networking series, and grateful to our sponsor Security Bank,” said Derek Gale, vice president and chief operating officer of Jewish Federation. “We had some passionate community members and leaders ask for this, doing research to find out how it has been successful in other communities, and convening meetings to get us to the point of launching the first event later this month. It is a testament to the community’s desire to gather, and to what can come together when there is good volunteer and professional partnership.”

The committee for the networking group includes members Jill Campbell, Keith Gersh, Seth Katz, Alana Muller, Aaron Rittmaster and Yosef Silver.

Those interested in attending should RSVP by Thursday, Aug. 22, at tinyurl.com/2whtkdpr to secure a spot.
