The Rose Family Early Childhood Education Center at Congregation Beth Shalom will host a Shabbat Story Time and Sing-Along for current and prospective families.
With a few openings still available (from ages 18 months to pre-K) for the fall, the preschool will host its event on Friday, Aug. 9, at 9 a.m.
Rabbi Talia Kaplan, the congregation’s new assistant rabbi, will share a story, and Brendan Howard, the school’s music teacher, will lead an assortment of fun songs for the children to welcome Shabbat.
Challah and juice will be provided. Weather permitting, children will be invited to play on the preschool playground afterwards.
