Labe Asner will be celebrating his 90th birthday on Sunday, May 5. He is a lifelong resident of Kansas City.

His children, Scott and Susan Asner, Lisa and Buzzah Feingold and Marci Asner, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren will be in attendance with him Saturday, May 4, at Congregation Ohev Sholom where he will be honored at the Shabbat morning service.

Gayle and Bruce Krigel of Kansas City, Mo., announce the engagement of their son, Jeffrey Price Krigel, to Stephanie Suzette Duran-Quintana, daughter of Norma Quintana and the late Albert Duran of Jerome, Idaho.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Esperanza Zermeño, Juan Quintana and the late Maria Gaucin. She is a graduate of Jerome High School in Jerome. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and a Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from the University of Idaho. She is now careering with Teach for America in Tulsa, Okla.

The future groom is the grandson of Betty Wacknov Price and the late Elmer Price and the late Marjorie and Jack Krigel. He is a graduate of The Pembroke Hill School and was a member of the Jewel Ball floor committee in 2006. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Southern Methodist University and a juris doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law. He is the owner of the Jeff Krigel Law Firm in Tulsa.

Theirs will be a June 30 wedding at the Kansas City Zoo.

Monica and Stephen Naron of Stockholm announce the birth April 9 of a daughter, Ida Elizabeth Lovisa Naron. They are also the parents of 2 ½-year-old Alma Elisabeth Beate Naron.

Paternal grandparents are Marsha and Gene Naron of Leawood. Maternal grandparents are Inga-Lill and Werner Rachbauer of Falun, Sweden.

Rabbi Adam and Tamar Stein of Melbourne, Australia, announce the birth April 13 of a son, Eli Victor. The baby’s Hebrew name is Eliav Yerachmiel.

Rabbi Stein formerly served as assistant rabbi at Congregation Beth Shalom. He is now the rabbi at Kehilat Nitzan, the only Masorti (Conservative) synagogue in Melbourne, Australia.

Martin and Matilda Rosenberg of Overland Park announce the engagement of their son, Joseph Rosenberg, to Maya Tobias, daughter of Michael Tobias and Marsha Zuckerman of Pittsburgh.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Hyman Zuckerman, the late Lillian Zuckerman and the late Norman and Pearl Tobias. She attended Washington University in St. Louis, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating summa cum laude. She is currently enrolled in the full-time MBA program at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, is president of the Haas Culinary Club and on the board of the International Institute of the Bay Area.

The future groom is the grandson of Alegre Tevet and the late Albert Tevet and the late Harry and May Rosenberg. He attended Indiana University-Bloomington, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree and Washington University in St. Louis, where he received his MBA degree. He is currently an associate at Renewable Energy Trust Capital in San Francisco.

An Aug. 11 wedding at the Pittsburgh Athletic Association is planned. The couple has requested guests to wear colorful cocktail attire and there is an after party in the PAA’s bowling alley.

Cameron is the granddaughter of Dr. Jerome and Nancy Nadler and Melvin Lintz and the late Tamma Perlmutter, all of New York City.
