Gerry Halpern Trilling, 79, passed away on Oct. 27, surrounded by her family.

Donna Sue Krichiver, 76, died peacefully surrounded by family on Oct. 18.

Bruce Bettinger, 77, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Oct. 15 at St. Luke’s Hospice House after an extended illness.

Roger Mark Fallek passed away at his home on Oct. 11. He was born on July 25, 1948.

Carolyn (Slack) Kershner peacefully passed away on July 2, 2024, at Saint Luke’s Hospice after a lengthy battle with a brain tumor and multiple strokes.

Marilyn Sheila Kessler, 69, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Oct. 10, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. 

When Eddie was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in August of 2023, he drew upon the Jewish tradition of “choosing life” and opted for a potentially lifesaving bone marrow transplant. The transplant gave Eddie many good months, but eventually, it failed. Eddie died early in the morning on Oct. 3. 

SuEllen Fried, 92, of Prairie Village, Kansas, died on Oct. 3, surrounded by her family. 

Leonard Milton Glass, 97, died on Sept. 30.

Karen Dorothy (Cohen) Porter died peacefully at home on Sept. 26.
