The family of Irene “Dolly” Gulko Fehr announces her monument unveiling, which was held on April 12 with her family at the Rose Hill Cemetery on a very rainy afternoon.
It was also on the birthday of her mother, Malka Gulko (may her memory be a blessing).
Family traveled from Chicago, Illinois; Hillsboro, Oregon; and Rye Brook, New York, to attend. Her sons Don Fehr and Jerry Fehr were in attendance, but her son Steve Fehr was in the hospital and could not attend in person.
Also attending were her daughter-in-laws; sister-in-law, Sylvia Abrams Soule, who just turned 100 and was “Dolly’s” best friend through college; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; cousins; nieces and nephews, as well as close family friends to remember her long 99-year life. Rabbi Rachel Rothstein from The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah led the service.
