KU Hillel’s largest Shabbat experience returns November 12

For over two decades, KU Hillel and Rock Chalk Shabbat have been synonymous. Last year, as a pivot during the pandemic, they modified to create “Rock Chalk Shabayit” — Rock Chalk Shabbat, but in your own home.

KU Hillel kicked off their weekly Wellness Wednesday programming this past week.

Each week, Wellness Wednesday is hosted at KU Hillel’s new location for three hours around lunchtime. Students are welcome to stop by for any period of time and wind down.

The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah’s religious school is implementing a new vision where students will go through their school day in four different physical spaces. The spaces will correspond with the themes: Israel — past, present and future; a Jewish home — featuring Judaica from the Michael Klein Collection; a mitzvot workshop for learning, planning, practicing and doing mitzvot; learning from Torah and Judaism’s greatest thought leaders.
