Sasha M. Raab

Sasha M. Raab, J.D., graduated from KU’s School of Law, class of 2020. She received the Law Class of 1949 Award for Leadership, which is giv-en annually to the student who, in the opinion of the faculty, contributed most significantly to the overall experience of the students in Green Hall.

Marlis Grad was recently presented with the Lenexa Chamber of Commerce’s Spirit of the Chamber award. This award is presented in recognition of a person or organization that has made a significant and lasting contribution to the chamber, exemplifies the spirit and the values of the community and the chamber, and who has built a legacy of excellence and leadership for future generations. Incoming Board Chairman Damien Butler (right) presented Grad with the award.

Nitsan Alter and Tyler Greif were married on June 13, 2019, in a beachfront wedding in Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Israel.

Tyler grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and is a graduate of the Pembroke Hill School and Emory University in Atlanta. Having lived in New York City for the last 20 years, he is currently Founder and CEO of HomeBase, a private investment and advisory firm.

He is the son of Randee Krakauer Kelley and of Lee Greif, both of Prairie Village, and is the grandson of the late Kenneth and Jane Rieger Krakauer of Kansas City and the late Murray and Adele Greif of New York. He also is the step-son of Amy Stepp Greif (Lee) and Michael Kelley (Randee).

Nitsan grew up in Israel and is a fashion designer, having worked for such brands as Zac Posen, Rosie Assoulin and Mary Kantranzo. After serving in the Israeli military she graduated from Istituto Marangoni University in London. She is the daughter of Gila and the late Ilan Alter, the step-daughter of Hagai Nivron, and the granddaughter of Zvi and Chaya Alter and Janos and Tamar Damon, all of Israel.

After the couple lived for a period in London they currently reside in SoHo in New York City.
