Karin Lichterman and Mark Edelman announce the engagement of their son, Charles Jacob (CJ) Edelman, to Swathy Mudhagouni in Alexandria, Virginia, where the engaged couple reside.
The bride-to-be’s parents are Vani Balabhadrapathruni of Hyderabad, India, and the late Umapathy Mudhagouni. Her grandparents were Lalitha and Sripathi Rao Balabhadrapathruni and Radha and Chennaiya Mudhagouni.
The groom’s grandparents were Beverly and Charles Lichterman and Dr. William and Doris Edelman.
The couple looks forward to a lifetime together, during which CJ hopes to learn how to pronounce his mother-in-law’s last name. Celebrations of the simcha are scheduled for 2021 in Overland Park, Kansas, and Alexandria, Virginia.
