Michael R. Koenigsberg. Born, Aug. 14, 1952, in Wilmington, Delaware. He died at Kansas City Hospice House on Nov. 19, 2017. Graveside services were held Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Shira and Keith McManus of Austin, Texas, announce the birth Aug. 14, 2017, of a son, Liam Bear McManus. They are also the parents of Luna Belle.

Jake Theiss, a senior at Blue Valley North High School, achieved his Eagle Scout ranking Sunday, Nov. 5. For his Eagle project, he built four dog houses and two cat houses for underprivileged pets at The Rescue Project. Jake, a member of Congregation Beth Torah, is the son of Daniel and Lisa Theiss.

Dr. Taryn Gort-Wasserman and Matthew Wasserman of Overland Park, Kansas, announce the birth Sept. 29, 2017, of a daughter, Nora Ivy Wasserman. They are also the parents of Mikaela Kalina and Henry Jacob.

David and Jody Berg of Owings Mills, Maryland, announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole Jaye Berg, to Aron Michael Mandelbaum, son of Mark and Ellie Mandelbaum of Naples, Florida.
