He loved bowling, and all 10 pins started dancing for him as soon as he threw the ball. His wife Charlene predeceased him. He is survived by brothers Mark Wasserstrom and Richard Wasserstrom. Private burial services will be in Topeka, Kansas. The family suggests contributions to Temple Israel of Overland Park, Kansas, or Kansas City Hospice.
