Andrew R. Corson, 34, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away November 1, 2021. Graveside services were Thursday, November 4 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Andrew’s name to Wayside Waifs.

Andrew was born March 6, 1987, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Niles and Judy (Barsky) Corson. He attended Shawnee Mission South High School where he was a terrific second baseman and lettered for the Varsity team. He went on to attend the University of Kansas where he earned his Bachelor of Arts, graduating in December of 2009.

Andrew had a love for all sports. He was very athletic and enjoyed participating in amateur boxing events. He also cared deeply for dogs.

Andrew is preceded in death by his grandparents: Louis and Lillian Corson and Emil and Yetta Barsky; and his uncle, Stephen Miller.

He leaves behind his parents: Niles and Judy Corson; older brother: Ethan Corson and wife Jenna Brofsky; twin brother: Michael Corson; nephew: Isaac Corson; aunts and uncles: Rosalie and Stephen Fein, Dr. Dolores Miller, Rabbi Bernard Barsky, Cindy and Tom Poppino and his beloved dog, Stella.
