Richard (Dick) Norman Stiefel passed away Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, at Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 18, at the Village Shalom Social Hall.

Alan Douglas Schwartz, 72, of Lenexa, Kan., died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Dec. 5, at Louis Memorial Chapel, 6830 Troost Ave., Kansas City, Mo., followed by burial at Rose Hill Cemetery.

Barbara Rhea Seigel Brown was born May 17, 1931, to Necoma and Eli Seigel of St Louis, Mo., and died on Dec. 4, 2021, at Village Shalom.

Betty (Pucker) Kalikow, age 95 and a lifelong resident of Kansas City who was once dubbed “an institution in the Kansas City Jewish Community,” died Dec. 6, 2021.

A celebration of life will be held for Allen B. Rawitch, Ph.D., on Dec. 19, 2021. The celebration will be at 2 p.m. at the Meadowbrook Club House, 9101 Nall Ave., Prairie Village, Kan. 66207.

Harriet (Smith) Baron, age 98, passed away peacefully at her residence in Providence, R.I., on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021. She was the wife of the late Dr. Philip Baron.

Martin (Marty) Fox, 91, of Leawood, Kan., died Nov. 22, 2021, at Brookdale Senior Living in Overland Park, Kan.

Herbert Gruenebaum passed away on November 17, 2021, at the age of 93. Herb was born an only child in Cologne, Germany, on January 6, 1928. His parents were Gertude and Edgar Gruenebaum.

Golf courses across Kansas City, Missouri, and Scottsdale, Arizona, are mourning the loss of one of their most dedicated customers. Philip Alan “Phil” Koffman died on November 13, 2021, after living with a great attitude in spite of metastatic pancreatic cancer for the last two years.

Heloise Pfeifer Isacson Werthan Kuhn passed away peacefully Thursday, November 18, 2021, with family at her bedside.
