The Kansas City Jewish community was well represented in Washington D.C. last week, with more than 50 people traveling to the nation’s capital to support and be part of the 290,000 people-strong March for Israel at the National Mall.

Jewish Family Services (JFS) is preparing for its annual Hanukkah Project which will provide more than 300 individuals and families with gifts or gift cards this year. JFS’ Emerging Leaders group is at the center of pulling off the large undertaking.
