Jewish Family Services (JFS) recently welcomed new board president Jeff Stolper and eight dedicated volunteers to the board of directors.
New JFS board members are Brenda Althouse, Janice Benjamin, Jamie Copaken, Crystal Johnson, Mary McLean, Rabbi Rachel Rothstein, Erika Saleski and Julia Vargas.
JFS recently welcomed Kelly Davydov as its new CEO and executive director, and Stolper is excited to work with both her and the JFS Leadership Team.
“Over the next year, I look forward to Kelly getting up to speed and gaining a deep understanding of all that JFS does,” Stolper said. “Her experience, paired with the great position JFS already has in the community, should have an amazing outcome.
“Not only do we have a great new executive director,” he continued, “but we have had extremely strong board recruitment over the past year. This is a testament to a lot of hard work put in by our board to ensure effective oversight of the organization and the alignment so many people have with JFS’ mission.”
In addition to Stolper, other JFS officers include Courtney Landy, vice president; Jane Sosland, vice president; Alice Megerman, secretary; Joan Cohen, treasurer; Lara Krigel Pabst, immediate past president; and Kelly Somberg, at-large member. JFS Board members continuing to serve the agency are Aaron Blazar, Michelle Cole, Deanna Culver, Kristen Fromm, Chris Johnson, Katie McGurk, Brett Parker, Janice Pinson, Dr. Joseph Reuben and Jo Taylor.
