Tisha B’Av (the fast day on the ninth of the Hebrew month of Av) is a period of lamentation and prayer to remember the destruction of the first and second temples of Jerusalem and other major disasters and tragedies that Jewish people experienced throughout history.

Jewish Family Services and The Giving Brick will be among the organizations participating in CARnival for CASA, a drive-through event that includes more than 20 activity booths, sweet treats and lunch for everyone in the car, a raffle, an optional nature walk or scavenger hunt, yard games, and lots of goodies to take home, including LEGO sets.

The Jewish Community Center is excited to announce the return of the Youth Triathlon on June 27, after a hiatus due to the pandemic. The J’s Youth Triathlon is for kids from age four to 17 and allows youth to compete in a fun setting complete with food, music and a medal for every participant.
