Jim and Margie Stark of Olathe announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda (Mandy) Stark, to Brian Tosh, son of Randy and Deb Tosh of Olathe.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Anita and the late Walter M. Loeb of Overland Park and Charles “Ben” and the late Avalee Stark of Mound City, Kan. She attended Kansas State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural communications and journalism. She is a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority and is currently marketing and outreach specialist with the City of Lenexa.

The future groom is the grandson of Peggy and the late Edward “Jerry” Sayles of Meridian, Kan., and Barbara and Don Tosh of Valley Falls, Kan. He attended Kansas State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations. He is a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity and is currently employed as marketing coordinator for eSolutions in Olathe.

A July 28 wedding at the Hobbs Building in Kansas City, Mo., is planned.

Ashley Clare Mohr and Nathan Joseph Ross were married Nov. 12 at The Marriott Hotel, Country Club Plaza.

The bride is the daughter of Margaret and Charles Vandenburg and Pam and Tom Mohr and the granddaughter of Margaret Spraker and Effie Mohr. The bride earned her bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco. She is employed as a product development specialist at Staples Promotional Products.

The groom is the son of Sally and Miles Ross and the grandson of Leonore and Jules Wagman. The groom earned his bachelor’s degree in finance at the University of Kansas and his Master’s in Business Administration in entrepreneurship and marketing at the Henry W. Bloch School of Management. He is employed as a product manager at UMB Bank in Kansas City.

The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Marissa Vann. The best men were the groom’s brothers, Benjamin Ross and Daniel Ross. Ring bearers were Hayden and Alexander Vann. Flower girls were Kendall Krichau and Mary Jane Van Dyke.

The couple reside in Kansas City, Mo.

Darcy and Jay Goodbinder announce the birth Monday, Jan. 2, of a son, Gabriel Yehudah. He is the grandson of Patti Kroll and Susan and Charles Goodbinder. The great-grandmother is Toby Simon.

She is currently employed in the marketing department of The Associated Jewish Community Federation of Baltimore.

The future groom is the grandson of Florence Spen of Florida and the late Monroe Spen and the late Phyllis and Jack Goldberg. He is currently employed in real estate in Baltimore.
