For the last 14 years of her life, Sara was cared for lovingly by Debbie Sams, who gave Sara a life with dignity despite her severe developmental disability. She also received great kindness from her medical providers in Lawrence and Ottawa, and from the staff at Community Living Opportunities (CLO), for which her family is deeply grateful.
Private funeral services were held on Dec. 13.
