The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Carol and Darrell Haas of Monument, Colorado. {mprestriction ids="1,3"}She attended Blue Valley High School and Johnson County Community college. She is both a licensed practical nurse and a registered nurse and is currently employed by Menorah Medical Center.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Maynard and Helen Cohen and the late Clyde and Winifred Zimmerman. He attended Blue Valley Northwest High School, the University of Kansas and Johnson County Community College. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and communication, is a licensed practical nurse and is currently completing requirements toward a registered nurse degree. He was an Eagle Scout in Troop 61 and was in the Tribe of Mic O Say and is employed by KU Medical Center.
An Oct. 10 wedding at the Town Square in Paola, Kansas, is planned.{/mprestriction}
