The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Kate Lebovitz and the late Eugene Lebovitz, and the late Marjorie and George Atkin. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago and an associate degree from Johnson County Community College. She lives in Los Angeles and works for David Yurman Jewelry Design as the West Coast regional merchandiser manager.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Irving and Rose Meklir and Harry and Aida Daniels. He attended the University of Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering. He lives in Los Angeles and works as the vice president and general manager at LFP, Inc.
The couple plans a Sept. 14 wedding at the Hilton President Kansas City.
