Freedom of speech is central to a free society and is constantly under attack. That being said, I must paraphrase something Winston Churchill once said, “that we are masters of our thoughts, but slave to our words and actions.”
The 13 colonies revolted over suppression, thus creating our hard-fought freedoms: the promise of “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness” guaranteed in our U.S. Constitution, based on a value system embracing both the Ten Commandments and the First Testament.
History will show how denigrated these values have become to empower a system of suppressive leadership pushing a Marxist ideology bent on control. Indeed, behold an emerging society of mice, unable to think for themselves, unable to reason that the cheese in the mousetrap is NOT free!
My impassioned words are by no means meant to incite violence/sedition, but quite to the contrary, to fight for the protected freedom of speech.
It seems that politicians (at least initially), seek to please their constituents; however, in “pleasing” those responsible for both their election and in leading legislative efforts, success hinges not on favor of their constituents, but on the sway of dark, pervasive, Machiavellian, narcissistic and sociopathic powers-that-be as well as supportive media/technology.
God bless our U.S. Constitution and the free people of the United States of America.
