Twyman Pierre Hampshire (Ty), aged 73, passed away March 12, 2021, at University of Kansas Medical Center. “Ty” as he was known, was born Aug. 22, 1947, in Peoria, Illinois. He was predeceased by his father Twyman Joseph Hampshire and his mother Lilian (Rene) Hampshire Ninke.

Louis Bordman passed away peacefully on March 18, 2021.

He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, where he grew up and spent his life. He was a graduate of Paseo High School and received an undergraduate degree from UMKC. He served his country in the Army and shortly after married the love of his life, Janet. They were married 55 years and had two children, Steve and Wendy.

Susan Marcella Cohen, a lifelong resident of Kansas City, passed away on March 18, 2021, at age 76 at her home on the Plaza.

Susan was born on Sept. 14, 1944, the daughter of Philip and Eunice “Dee Dee” Cohen. She is survived by her brother, Martin Cohen; Rabbi Randy Sheinberg and Paola (Susan’s younger niece) of New York; her niece Ariel Cohen and Louis Orren and Isadora Cohen-Orren of California; and by numerous cousins.

Jerry Cosner, 84, passed away on March 11, 2021. Jerry was born in Kansas City to Ben and Esther Cosner. He graduated from Paseo High School in 1954, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Georgia Tech and a master’s degree in business from the University of Chicago. Jerry worked as an engineer, consultant and later as the president of American Ingredients in Kansas City.

Alan received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Wayne State University, and a Master of Arts from Northern Illinois University at DeKalb.

Marvin was born March 9, 1923, to William Eli Goodman and Lillian Goldansky Goodman in Kansas City, Missouri. He spent his childhood in Kansas City with a large close family and enjoyed many boyhood summers in Times Beach, Missouri, working for his aunt and uncle.
