Kittie Cohen, 89, of Overland Park, Kansas, died on July 24.

Kittie was born Jan. 22, 1935, to the late Herman and Sara B Dessauer, in Augusta, Georgia. She was a passionate traveler, mother, grandmother and friend to many.
Kittie was preceded in death by her parents, husband (Sanford Cohen) and her daughter Karen Towerman.
She is survived by son, her son-in-law and daughter-in-law as well as her sister, Sara Hene.
