Jacquelyn "Jackie" Korn Boston, 84, of Leawood, Kansas, and previously for many years of Memphis, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on April 5.
A private graveside service was held at Rose Hill Cemetery.
She was born on April 16, 1939, to the late Charles and Minna Korn in New Orleans, Louisiana. She received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Sophie Newcomb Memorial College in 1960.
Jackie was a social worker in New Orleans, and when she moved to Memphis in 1964, she worked as an administrator in the accounting field.
Jackie was an active member of Temple Israel Congregation in Memphis. She enjoyed creative writing and regularly enrolled in continuing education classes. She delighted in social activities with her many close friends and loved attending GPAC music performances in the Memphis area.
A beloved mother and grandmother, Jackie is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Boston Dorman and James Ingram Dorman, and her granddaughter, Grace Alison Dorman, all of Leawood. Her brother and sister-in-law Donald and Lynda Lee Korn reside in Palo Alto, California.
