The family of Oleg Grimberg announce his passing with deep sorrow. Oleg was an accomplished businessman, devoted family man and beloved community member who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 60.
Born in Balti, then a part of the Moldavian Soviet Socialist Republic, on Oct. 29, 1962, Oleg's journey was one marked by dedication, resilience and an infectious spirit.
Known for his entrepreneurial spirit, Oleg operated the much-loved grocery store European Delights. His tireless dedication and warm personality transformed the establishment from a mere grocery store to a cornerstone of the community, loved by all. It wasn't just a business to Oleg, but a testament to his commitment to service and an embodiment of his unwavering love for his community.
But for Oleg, his most important role was that of a father. His love, guidance and support molded his son, Howard, and stepdaughter, Michelle, into the strong, independent individuals they are today. His unwavering commitment to his family will always be remembered and treasured.
Oleg is survived by his loving partner, Rita, who stood by his side through every twist and turn that life presented. He also leaves behind his cherished sister, Maya, their bond a poignant reminder of deep familial love.
Oleg was predeceased by his parents, Mikhail and Tsiril, whose enduring legacy he continued through his extraordinary life.
As the family mourns the loss of Oleg, they also celebrate a life richly lived. His passion for life, love for his family and dedication to his community will continue to inspire all who knew him. Although he may no longer be with us, his influence and legacy will remain a vibrant part of our lives and community. The family shall forever remember Oleg Grimberg as a man of exceptional character and boundless love, whose memory will forever be engraved in their hearts.
Graveside services were held on July 25, 2023, at Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to the Louis Memorial Chapel.
