Joyce Wexler, age 84, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away the morning of July 9, 2023, in Columbus, Ohio.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Maxine Margolin. She is survived by her children, Randy (Rachel Jaffy) Wexler, Wendy (Jeff) Jonas and Andrew (Nikki) Wexler; grandchildren, Gabby and Ari Jonas, Dash and Rhyan Wexler; sisters, Donna Limbaugh and Lynn Gordon; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.\
Joyce was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. She graduated from Southwest High School and the University of Missouri, where she was in Sigma Delta Tau, with a degree in elementary education. She taught for more than 40 years in the Columbus Public Schools as a dedicated special education teacher.
Joyce's greatest joys were spending time with family and friends — especially her grandchildren. Funeral services were held on July 12 at the Epstein Memorial Chapel in Columbus, OH. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 14 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Rd., Kansas City, MO 64131.
