Robin Lynn Weissman Agin, 66, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 16, 2023, after a battle with leukemia.
Robin was born in Kansas City to Alvin and Betty Weissman on June 3, 1956. She was very proud of being in the first graduating class of Hickman Mills Senior High School and earned her undergraduate degree at Central Missouri State University and later, a master of business degree from Baker University. She married Daniel J. Agin and had two daughters, Danielle and Alisse. She was later widowed and is leaving behind her fiance, Robert J. Duda.
Robin was sure to be found yelling at her television when a Royals or Chiefs game was on. She had an incredible sense of humor and always found a way to make others laugh. Robin is survived by her fiance, Robert; her children, Danielle and Alisse; her brothers, Larry, Michael, and Steve; and many nieces and nephews. Her parents, Alvin and Betty, passed away in 2007 and 2005, respectively, and she will be buried in the same family cemetery.
A visitation was held at Louis Memorial Chapel on Jan. 19, 2023, prior to the funeral service with Rabbi Brazner. The burial followed at Rose Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Robin Weissman Agin’s Memorial Fund at https://gofund.me/bddf4ad2 to aid the family to cover the burial and outstanding medical costs.
