Steven Komm, 78, of Overland Park, Kansas, died Friday, July 22, 2022.
Funeral services were held on Monday, July 25, at Louis Memorial Chapel. Burial was at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to the American Heart Association and Tunnel to Towers.
He was born August 7, 1943, to the late Robert and Harriet Komm, in St. Louis, Missouri. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Missouri after serving his country in the United States Army. He married Marcia Sedler in 1970.
Steven was an Accountant and CPA by trade for much of his career until he changed career paths in 2000. He became passionate about becoming an entrepreneur and purchased a large retail hobby store franchise with his wife, Marcia, and son, Adam.
He was a member of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah since its early days. Steve was an avid dog lover and had four shih tzus, Ty, Nika, Junior, and Trey, that have been waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia; son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Michelle Komm of Overland Park; daughter and son-in-law, Jami and Jason Luce, Prairie Village, Kansas; and two grandchildren, Kemper and Eden.
