Beverly Maxine Newton, 88, of Olathe, Kansas, passed away Friday, July 1, 2022, at Sunrise of Overland Park.
A graveside service was held at Walnut Creek Cemetery, Wellsville, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org/involved/donate.html.
Beverly was born September 15, 1933, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Sam and Fannie (Romer) Tankel.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 46 years, Robert W. Newton. She spent many years assisting her husband at the Bon Newton Agency (Farmers Insurance).
She is survived by her son, Richard Goldman, Warsaw, Missouri; daughter Elise Goldman and son-in-law Joe Soto, Jacksonville, Florida; grandchildren Ryan Vilinsky, Olathe; and Barry Vilinsky, Kansas City, Kansas. Online condolences for the family may be left at louismemorialchapel.com.
