Bertha Wise (nee Spitcaufsky) passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at the age of 107, having been born on January 6, 1915, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Morris and Rose Spitcaufsky.
She was the last of her generation, having been predeceased by her brothers Roy, David, Daniel, and Martin Spitcaufsky and her sisters Blanche Adelman and Helen Feder Gordon.
Bertha married Phillip Wise on August 31, 1946, and they remained married until his death in 1988. She is survived by their sons Robert, Michael, and Steven, their grandchildren Shane and Shelby Wise and Anita Allyn-Zamora, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 5529 Ditzler, Raytown, MO.
