Jacqueline “Jackie” Fiszel, age 61, passed away on April 21, 2022, in her home in Overland Park, Kansas, surrounded by her family and close friends, after a courageous fight with metastatic breast cancer.
She is the daughter of the late Sam and late Bess Fiszel — both Holocaust Survivors. She is the loving mother of Benjamin Fiszel, who was the light of her life; dear loving sister and sister-in-law of Mimi Fiszel and Rosemary (Steve) Nochlin; dear aunt of Aaron, Brian (Melissa) and Erica (Dan); and dear great-aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Jackie was a dedicated teacher who touched the lives of many children over the years. She was a trusted friend and colleague who will be missed dearly.
Her Camp Sabra family will always have wonderful memories of her.
Her funeral service was on April 25, 2022, at Chesed Shel Emeth Cemetery, 650 White Rd. Chesterfield, MO 63017. Memorial contributions preferred to Breast Cancer Research Foundation (www.bcrf.org) or a charity of your choice.
