Louise K. Cohen, 95, passed away November 2, 2021, at her Sunrise of Leawood residence. She was the daughter of David and Beatrice Kovalsky, and she was married to Eugene J. Cohen for 60 years.
Louise lived in New Jersey, Missouri and Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her son, David E. Cohen, DDS, spouse Helen of Sedona, Arizona; grandchildren Jason and Robyn Cohen; daughter Jill A. Pattiz, spouse Jay of Warrensburg, Missouri; and grandchild Brian Pattiz.
Louise worked as a teacher, realtor and in the Trust Department of Ranchmart Bank and Trust. Her interests included her cats, painting, reading books, crossword puzzles and especially bridge.
A graveside service was held Friday, November 5 at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family suggests donation memorials to Wayside Waifs Animal Rescue/Shelter.
