Max L. Gasser, 89, of Overland Park, KS, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on May 11, 2021. Private services were held at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Max was born on July 25, 1931 in Oklahoma City to the late Harry and Sara Gasser. He went to Oklahoma University where he met his future wife, Marlene.

Max eventually settled in Kansas City after marrying his beloved wife, Marlene. Upon arriving to Kansas City, he worked for Hallmark, but soon after he went into business with his brothers-in-law; first owning a rental car company and then a car wash. Later, he sold insurance and in retirement worked part-time at Costco well into his 80’s.

Max was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene; son, James Gasser; grandson, Dakota and brothers: Irv and Sidney.

Max is survived by his sons: Kevin Gasser and wife Lisa; Jonathan Gasser and wife Idala; grandchildren: Austen, Heath, Eliza, Elliana, Riley (Jeremy) and William (Crystalyn) and 2 great-grandchildren: Lily and Murphy.
