Bernie and Beverly lived in Wichita for 18 years where he worked as store manager for Rosen Brothers Sporting Goods and Pawn Shop and raised their four children.
They were active members of Ahavath Achim Hebrew Congregation, and Bernie was a proud member of The Wagon Masters, a civic organization in Wichita. They returned to Kansas City in 1996 and Bernie worked part-time at Frank Ancona Honda in the service department. A natural born schmoozer, Bernie enjoyed meeting and helping customers. He formally retired 5 years ago.
He is survived by his wife Beverly, sons Jonathan, Tony and Nicholas, daughter Juliana, and her husband Dov and granddaughters Avigayl and Nava. He was predeceased in death by his sister Phyliss and his parents. Bernie will be remembered as a character, storyteller, and funny guy.
