Dennis R. Small, 85, passed away at home surrounded by his family on April 29 in Prairie Village, Kansas.

Dennis was born on August 3, 1935, to the late Irving and Mildred Small in New York City. He resided in the Kansas City area for the past 58 years.
He worked in various sales and management positions for several businesses. Ultimately, he was an award-winning top sales professional and the world’s only Jewish Christmas tree salesman for 40 years. He retired at the age of 82.
Dennis was a caring and dedicated family man and was married to the love of his life, Fran, for 64 years. He devoted his life to his children, his son Howard (Polli) Small, daughter Julie (Terry) Levine, grandchildren Rachel (Tom) Ragole, Ethan Small (deceased), Adam (Amanda) Levine, Samantha (Brandon) Rumann, Elliot Levine, and his great grandchildren, Henry, Sam and Olivia.
Dennis was a confidant, advice-giver and technical helper to his family and many friends, always willing and able to provide assistance. He also was a longtime passionate KC Chiefs fan and one of the first season-ticket holders.
