Arnold Probin passed away Feb. 25, 2021, at Overland Park Regional Hospital. A private family service was held on Feb. 26, 2021.
Arnold Probin was born on Oct. 29, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to Kansas City in 1947 with his parents Lillian and Barney Probin, his sister Delores and his brother Donald. His immediate family is all deceased. His close cousin Devora Molitor of St. Paul, Minnesota, survives him.
Arnold was a proud graduate of Boone High School. He met Patsy Gutovitz, the love of his life, at a Young Adults function at the Jewish Community Center. They got married shortly after. Arnold was very handy, and he enjoyed fixing things around their home and taking care of the yard. Most recently Arnold resided with his wife at Delmar Gardens of Overland Park. They enjoyed a loving marriage of nearly 50 years.
Arnold was a Royals fan. He enjoyed watching baseball games on TV and spending time with Patsy. He also enjoyed visiting with family and friends. Arnold is survived by his wife and best friend Patsy Gutovitz Probin; his sister-in-law, Toby Gutovitz Levine (David); and brother-in-law Sammy Gutovitz (Susan). Other survivors include nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. We will always remember Arnold’s patience, kindness and love.
