Roger Alan Magilow passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021, after a prolonged struggle with Type I Diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease. He died suddenly and without suffering.
Roger was a lifelong lover of music and a truly kind soul, with a frank demeanor that was totally devoid of malice, which would have helped to parry the often-direct observations of anything from a particular recipe or your understanding of history. He had a good humor like his father, and he didn’t ask for much, like his mother. He will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of meeting him.
Roger is preceded in death by his father and mother, Melvin and Esther Zelda Magilow, and his sister, Molly Ruth Proffer. He is survived by his brother, Lee Magilow, and his nephews and nieces.
An interment will be held at Rosehill Cemetery.
