Lana Kallmeyer Cole, 80, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2020, at Menorah Medical Center. Memorial services will be private. The family suggests contributions in Lana’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, the Dementia Society of America or a charity of one’s choice.

Lana was born July 17, 1940, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Mary and Herbert Kallmeyer. She graduated from Central High School in Tulsa and attended the University of Oklahoma. Lana moved to Dallas in 1959 and met the love of her life, Judson Coleman Cole (J.C.), in 1961. Lana and J.C. married on June 2, 1963, in Tulsa. Lana’s joy in life were her children and grandchildren.

Lana is survived by her husband of 57 years, Judson Coleman Cole; her sons and their spouses, Eric and Michelle Cole and Brian and Karen Cole, Overland Park; grandchildren, Logan and Zachary Cole, Samuel and Hannah Cole; and her brother Michael Kallmeyer of San Diego.
