Martin B. Yagan

Martin B. Yagan, 85, passed away peacefully at his home on Nov. 21, 2020. He was born Aug. 26, 1935, to Sam and Sarah (Dubinsky) Yagan and grew up in Kansas City, attending Southeast High School and the University of Missouri.

He served in the Army during the Korean War and was also in the Naval Air Reserve. He was a general manager for 35 years of the United States Uniform Company.

He was a former member of The Temple, Congregation B’nai Jehudah, Congregation Beth Shalom, B’nai B’rith, Jewish Community Center, American Legion and the National Association of Uniform Manufacturers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jerry, in 1983. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Mark and Janet Yagan; grandchildren, Sophie Yagan and Michael Yagan. He is also survived by his special companion of 36 years, Bonnie Schwarzenholz.

Graveside services were held on Nov. 24, 2020, at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family requests donations be made to the charity of one’s choice.
