Joseph Wolf passed away in Framingham, Massachusetts, on June 21, just two months short of his 90th birthday.
He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Joseph and Mary Wolf. He attended Paseo High School and the University of Missouri, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Jack Wolf.
In 1963, he married Frances Myron, and together, they raised two children in Kansas City.
Among the places he worked were Boeing, Bendix and the Marley Company. Interested in the stock market, he was at one time a certified financial planner.
In addition to his wife, Fran Wolf, he is survived by his son, Michael Wolf; his daughter, Susan Wolpe and her husband Larry; and grandchildren Mia, Sarah and Jack Wolpe.
Funeral services were held on June 24 at Sharon Memorial Park Chapel in Sharon, Massachusetts. Interment followed. Shiva was observed at the home of Susan and Larry Wolpe that night.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer’s Association.
