Sasone, Jewish Federation of Kansas City's program to advance disability inclusion, is celebrating its 30th birthday with a community-wide Birthday Bash on Sunday, Oct. 11.
For more than three decades, Sasone has worked to ensure that students with disabilities can access Jewish education and experiences across the Kansas City Jewish community.
The Sasone Birthday Bash will be from 2-5 pm at Deanna Rose Farmstead in Overland Park.
From 2:15-2:30 pm, attendees are invited to gather at the pavilion inside the farmstead for cupcakes and to sing happy birthday. Following the short celebration, everyone is invited to enjoy the animals, attractions, playgrounds and nature throughout Deanna Rose.
This event is open to the entire community. Registration is free. Those interested are asked to register by Thursday, October 8, at jewishkansascity.org/events/sasone-30th-birthday-bash.
Donations in honor of Sasone's 30th birthday can be made at jewishkansascity.org/sasone-donate. Contributions made will help Sasone build the systems, programs, and community supports needed to ensure every child feels a sense of belonging in Jewish life.
