Beth Shalom Sisterhood will hold its annual seder celebrating Tu B’Shvat, the Jewish agricultural new year.
Fruits and wines related to the holiday will be among the light snacks and drinks available at the seder.
The event will be held in Goldsmith Hall at Congregation Beth Shalom (14200 Lamar Ave., Overland Park, KS 66223) on Thursday, Feb. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. Prices for members and non-members as well as payment information are available at bethshalomkc.org/events/sisterhood-tu-bshvat-seder.
The evening will include music, dancing, time for mingling and conversation based on parts of the Tu B’Shvat haggadah. The winner of Sisterhood’s art contest will be announced, and there will be a raffle drawing at the end of the seder.
Dried fruit and nut packages will also be available for purchase.
