This Sunday, Sept. 8, Congregation Beth Shalom will host Kansas Jewish legislators Sen. Ethan Corson and Rep. Dan Osman for a discussion about the upcoming legislative session.
The event, part of the Cafe Ohev series, will begin with a breakfast at 9:30 a.m. in Goldsmith Hall, followed by a 10:30 a.m. presentation by the legislators in the Ohev Sholom Memorabilia Room, all at Beth Shalom (14200 Lamar Ave., Overland Park, KS 66223).
The presentation will cover the workings of the Kansas state legislature and legislative action they anticipate in the near future. The discussion will be moderated by Ace Allen, a candidate for House District 28.
